Through the medium of photography and Freewriting this workshop aimed to stimulate exploration of the city by giving rise to specific notes of individual experience of urban space. Mapping out particular spots in the Old Town, as well as engaging in a creative way with the potentials of two important industrial heritage sites of Rijeka, the content of this workshop was build upon the experience gained in the previous series of workshops ‘Between the Eyes – Between the Lines’.

Twenty five international students participated in this four-day workshop. The results of their work will be used in the future activities planned by the city of Rijeka in the context of European Capital of Culture in 2020. It is similarly expected that the results of the workshop will be presented in an exhibition in Rijeka (HR), Ljubljana (SLO) and Graz (A).
